My name is Ben Baker and in December 2024, my ski helmet saved my life. After an ill-timed snowboard jump, I ended up in the hospital with a pulmonary contusion (lung injury) broken ribs, and fracture in my spine. The picture to the right is a CT scan showing all the damage to my right lung.

 

My helmet was cracked, but my skull and brain were fine. The idea of saving skulls was born.

 

Saving Skulls is a California non-profit where all proceeds will be used to supply sports helmets (skiing, biking, skateboarding, snowboarding) to underserved schools and communities.
